Mother’s Day Brunch
April 28th, 2024 was a day that Christmas Without Cancer will cherish forever. CWC was able to honor 10 of the 18 incredible mothers all affected by the devastations of cancer with gifts and a delicious brunch at Deja Brew Bar & Grille. The day was filled with lots of love, laughs, and gratitude. Words cannot describe how perfect this day was.

Custom Birthstone Necklaces
This event was inspired through one mom’s wish at Christmas time for a custom necklace featuring the birthstones of her children. Instantly, we thought of our friends at James & Sons Fine Jewelers. James & Sons was so inspired by this sentimental gift that they reached back out earlier this year to plan something for Mother’s Day. Over the past couple of months, the jewelry store worked on designing a total of 18 necklaces unique to 18 very special moms. The moms were blown away with so many emotions opening up this special gift.

- Deja Brew Bar & Grille of Oak Lawn offers an extensive menu of delicious food and drinks. The owner and staff helped set up our brunch room and donated stunning center pieces and tasty cake pops.
- James & Sons Fine Jewelers of Orland Park donated custom birthstone necklaces unique to each mom. James & Sons is our go to for any jewelry or watch purchase of any budget. They even offer repair services.
- O’Hara and Friends Salon of Palos Heights donated a salon gift card to each mom. Check them out for your next cut, color, or style.
- Nothing Bundt Cakes of Oak Lawn provided some delicious treats for our brunch attendees. These yummy treats come in a variety of flavors and are the perfect dessert for any occasion.
